The core of physical univers
From the Sensory World to Awareness
A Bridge to the Essence of Reality
When we observe the sensory world, we encounter an immense variety of forms: trees, houses, roads, animals, human beings, and countless objects such as tables and chairs. All these phenomena appear solid, concrete, and separate. They arise, exist for a time, and eventually change, decay, or disappear. Everything we can perceive is conditioned—dependent on causes and circumstances that allow it to come into being, and equally dependent on those same conditions to remain.
If we look more deeply into any physical object, its apparent solidity begins to dissolve. Take a table as an example. At first glance, it seems stable and real. Yet upon closer inspection, we see that it is made from wood, which comes from a tree. The tree itself consists of molecules, which are formed from atoms. At a deeper level, atoms dissolve into subatomic particles, quarks, and fields. Ultimately, what we find is not a solid object, but movement, vibration, and fluctuation.
At the most fundamental level of matter, physics reveals a field of uncertainty—a quantum field where forms arise and disappear. Here, nothing can be precisely localized or grasped. What once seemed concrete reveals itself as dynamic, insubstantial, and empty of fixed essence. This “emptiness” is not a void of nothingness, but a fertile field in which all appearances arise.
If we imagine that we could magnify this field of emptiness to a scale accessible to human perception, we would discover something remarkable: the same emptiness exists within us. The inner silence we experience in deep stillness is not different from the emptiness underlying external phenomena. The emptiness “out there” revealed through scientific inquiry into matter, and the emptiness “in here” revealed through direct personal introspection, are not two separate things—they are one and the same.
The reason for this is simple yet profound: no boundary can be found between inner and outer emptiness. If we attempt to locate a dividing line—analogous to a wall separating the inside of a house from the outside—we find none. There is no detectable interface where inner silence ends and outer emptiness begins. They are not merged, nor are they separated; rather, they are expressions of a single, continuous field.
Within this emptiness, vibration can arise. Within silence, movement appears. Yet silence itself remains untouched. When we rest in this stillness, we can recognize that emptiness and awareness are inseparable. For emptiness to be known, there must be something that knows it. That which knows silence is awareness.
This leads to a fundamental insight: awareness, emptiness, and stillness are not separate realities —just as fire and heat, or water and wetness, cannot be separated. Remove one, and the others cannot exist. They are different expressions of the same underlying nature. Awareness knows emptiness; emptiness allows form; stillness remains as the ground of both. At this level, we no longer find ourselves as a person, an ego, or a body, but as pure presence—the consciousness that is aware.
This awareness is non-local. It cannot be found in a specific place, because it is not a thing. It is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All forms—tables, stones, trees, animals, and human beings—arise within this same field of awareness. Nothing is truly separate.
From this perspective, intention becomes meaningful. An intention is not merely a thought in the mind, but a subtle movement within awareness itself. Intention creates vibration within the silent field, and this vibration participates in the unfolding of phenomena. In this way, there is a continuous communication between awareness and form, between consciousness and the physical world.
Everything that appears is consciousness expressing itself as form. The world is not separate from awareness; it is awareness made visible. When everything settles into its true place, what remains is simple and clear: stillness, emptiness, and awareness as one indivisible reality. This is not something to believe in, but something to recognize directly—here, now, as what we truly are.
When we come to realize that we are awareness, we find ourselves returning to a space of calmness and stillness, a place of inner peace that remains steady regardless of what happens around us. This awareness is our true self, and it has always been here, waiting to be recognized.
